Free to be me in 2023…

Pride by the Beach is a wonderful family friendly LGBTQ festival in downtown Oceanside.

This market will be an extra special one for me as I will be debuting my expansion of my “It’s not JUST a phase” moon collection. All of the proceeds made from this collection will go towards supporting my best friend Cody Doyle’s recovery fund. He is currently on life support after a tragic car accident in late February. A little bit of info on Cody:

Cody is one of the brightest stars you will ever meet. Cody identifies as a gender fluid barbie-You may even know him as his drag persona Ari Mirage, who would perform Drag Bingo at the Windmill every month, or even just seen her hanging out/ performing in Hillcrest. I will never be able to phantom the right words to describe Cody. I would personally describe him as the best friend every introverted individual like myself needs in their life. Anyone you ask will tell you Cody is a one of a kind, lively human who goes out of their way to love, support, and lend a hand to those who need it. And it’s not exclusively to those he knows and loves, it’s truly everyone. I was a bridesmaid for my friend’s wedding and there was a hair malfunction. My friend desperately needed to find someone who could redo her hair completely. My Date, Cody, and the only person who I knew who could possibly do hair, wasn’t expected to arrive for another 3 hours but I called him to see if he could help. Cody immediately answers the phone, “ HIIIIIII, I’m awake and getting ready! Are you proud of me?” (Me: Always) I told him the situation and he was on the way! He only met my friend once but he was there for her and he was there for me. That’s just the kind of person he is. He truly deserves all the love and support of our community and I am forever grateful to everyone who has supported so far… THANK YOU
